Once approved, refunds are processed through our payment processor, Paddle. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- PayPal: 2-5 business days

3. Subscription Renewals
3.1 Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscriptions, refunds are only available for the first month of service. Renewal payments are non-refundable. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.
3.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, refunds are available within 30 days of the initial purchase or renewal date. After 30 days, renewal payments are non-refundable. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future renewals.
4. Lifetime Licenses
Lifetime licenses are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, lifetime licenses are non-refundable due to their one-time payment nature.
If you experience technical issues with your lifetime license, please contact our support team first. We'll work to resolve any problems before considering a refund.
5. Free Version
The free version of Browser Lock does not require payment and therefore is not subject to refund policies. You can uninstall the extension at any time without any charges.
6. Exceptions and Special Cases
6.1 Technical Issues

6.2 Multiple Refund Requests

7. Promotional Offers and Discounts

8. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider instead of contacting us directly for a refund, your access to Browser Lock premium features will be immediately suspended pending resolution. Chargebacks may result in additional fees and the permanent termination of your account.

9. Cancellation vs. Refund
It's important to understand the difference between cancellation and refund:
- Cancellation: Stops future billing. You retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the current period.
- Refund: Returns your payment and immediately terminates your premium access. Only available within the 30-day guarantee period.

10. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds are generally not offered. Refunds are processed as full refunds for the entire purchase amount within the 30-day guarantee period. For annual subscriptions, if you request a refund after using the service for several months, we reserve the right to issue a prorated refund at our discretion.
11. Currency and Exchange Rates
Refunds are processed in the original currency of the transaction. If your financial institution applies currency conversion fees or if exchange rates have changed since the original purchase, the refunded amount may differ slightly from the amount originally charged. We are not responsible for currency conversion fees or rate fluctuations.
